If you get a call from someone claiming to be from Amazon regarding your subscription or billing, just hang up! They might try to trick you into sharing personal stuff like your credit card details, security code, social security number, or even your mum’s maiden name. Once they’ve got that info, they could start using your account or open a new one pretending to be you. Sometimes these scammer calls come after they leave a number on your voicemail or send you an email, hoping you'll ring back. Stay cautious!

Got a voicemail claiming it was from Amazon warning me that my Prime trial was about to end. They said to press 1 if I didn’t want to keep it. I ended up calling Amazon customer support myself, and they told me it was a scam and that no charges would go through. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from some bloke saying he was from Amazon, talking about my wife supposedly buying a Prime membership just an hour earlier. Total rubbish and a scam, watch out! The number was dodgy, and the whole thing stank of lies. Absolute fake nonsense!
