I received a rather dodgy automated call from a so-called call centre claiming to represent Amazon Prime, talking about my membership renewal. They attempted to bamboozle me into believing it would be re-upped for a suspiciously low price of about £30. To add to the absurdity, they urged me to press 1 if I fancied a word with someone in customer service to cancel. Now, considering that the legitimate annual fee for Amazon Prime is actually £79, it's clear to me that this is nothing but a scam. Avoid at all costs!
