I got a call from a woman’s voice, maybe just a robot, saying £700 was already taken from my Visa and there were more charges coming. They said if I wanted to stop it, press 1 - which I never did. I called my bank to let them know, and the lady on the line, Barbara, said it sounded like a scam. She told me not to worry as long as I didn’t share any personal details and said I should report it on Nationwide’s phishing website just to be safe.
