Received a call purporting to be from BT, claiming my internet had been compromised. They said they would attempt to call me again, but I quickly informed them that they weren’t actually from BT but were simply trying to pull a fast one for my information. After that, they abruptly hung up!

I've just had a rather alarming call from this number, which claimed to be from my credit card provider, alerting me to a few dubious transactions on my account through an automated message. Naturally, I didn't heed their prompt to talk to anyone! What a complete fraud!
