I'm certain this was one of those 'UK Benefits' scams calling from loads of different numbers - they've used Telford area codes, some 0202 numbers, basically all sorts of random ones so it’s impossible to block them all. I reckon none of those numbers are legit. Today, they couldn’t hear me properly, so I couldn’t yell “leave me alone!” like I usually do, which normally makes them hang up quick - usually within a second. I told them it was harassment, but honestly, it feels more like it could be risky too.

Called me sayin it's about benefits and asked for some info, ive been gettin loads of these calls lately, like two or three every day. Usually it's someone with a British sounding name but you can tell from their Indian or Pakistani accent it's dodgy. It’s clearly a scam. The government needs to step in and put pressure on phone and mobile companies to actually tackle these scammers, enough is enough!
