I got a call with a recorded message from a woman with an American accent saying our internet would be cut off within a day or two because our IP address was supposedly at risk. They told me to press 1 to talk to someone. I just ended the call straight away. There’s nothing recorded about this number here, but I’m pretty convinced it’s a scam. We use BT and I can’t imagine they’d send an automated message for something this serious.
