Last night I got a call that woke me up, which was annoying. Then today, I received two more calls but whenever I pick up, there’s silence or someone just says a name before hanging up. It’s really strange and a bit creepy.

this morning i received a call from a woman offering me to enter a competition with a chance to win 200 quid. it seemed a bit dodgy so i just declined politely.

Some bloke said his name was Steven, and when I told him I’d already had about 10 calls from him in the past hour and wanted him to stop, he threatened to scam me if I didn’t listen. I just laughed it off and ended the call. Seems like he’s only trying to frighten me, but I don’t think he’ll do a thing.

Got a call from someone saying they worked for a charity asking if I wanted to give a donation. I told them no and hung up straight away. It’s not that I’m against donating, but I prefer not to do it over the phone or internet as I worry it might be a scam. I usually stick to helping out local charities instead.

These calls have been coming in every day for the past week or so. I usually just let it ring, but if I do answer, the person on the other end just hangs up straight away. It’s really annoying, so I’m planning to block this number for good.

For the last few months, I've been getting calls from this number pretty much every week, like 4 or 5 times. When I did pick up, no one ever said anything, so now I just ignore it. I even tried blocking, but they keep changing their numbers. It's really annoying!

Somebody called me claiming they’d found my number on WeChat and said they needed to ask some questions for their own safety. I just ended the call straight away. After that, I got a threatening text saying they’d track my phone and would take action against me. I’ve gone ahead and reported the number to the police.
