i got a call from someone claiming £600 would be taken from my visa debit by a guy named david connell in the usa. i looked at my bank’s pending transactions and saw nothing weird, so i knew it was a scam. i told the woman on the phone, who sounded like she might be chinese, that i wasn’t falling for it and then ended the call.
