It's the exact same number that tricked my elderly mum into paying £1000, thinking she owed them money. I rang once from my phone to check who they were, and now they keep calling me every single day.

Some person called saying they "could help lower my monthly bills" or something like that. I told them loads of times to quit phoning me, then said I’d report them if they didn’t stop. The lady on the other end claimed she wasn’t doing anything wrong. My local police told me to report calls like this to them, so I’m going to do just that.

Got a call from some dodgy loan firm asking me to send £100 through paysafe or iTunes vouchers, saying they'd give me a £1000 loan back. Really? Like I'd fall for that. Honestly, stay right clear of these scams, folks...seriously, keep away!!

i got in touch with their network provider, magrathea telecommunications. they replied asking for the number that called me and said the one above is using a fake identity. magrathea telecommunications said they’ll look into it and will work on removing my mobile from that number. hoping this sorts out metton mowbray once and for all. if i spot any other numbers ringing me, i’ll pass them on to magrathea telecommunications as well.
