Had to tell them to shove it and to stop using my name. They ring me at work, when I’m driving and even once when I was at a funeral. Proper rude behaviour!

I got a ring from someone claiming to be ‘the call blocking service’. A woman with an accent, sounded a bit Asian, asked if I’d been getting a lot of annoying calls lately. When I said yes, she told me the call blocking service I supposedly had had actually expired. Now, I’ve owned this number for over 20 years and never signed up for any call blocking at all, so I guessed it was a scam straight away. I told her how impressed I was since I’d never had this kind of dodgy call before, and then I just hung up.

Seeing the other comments, it seems like this was just a mix-up with the number. Would’ve been better if the caller had just said it was a mistake, don’t you think?
