About 10 minutes ago I got a call from someone claiming to be from Credit Card Fraud. They said there were 2 suspicious charges on my account - one for £70 and another for £2000. They asked me to press 1 to confirm or 2 to talk to an advisor. I chose 2 and the advisor repeated that there were these unusual transactions and asked for my date of birth. I told them no and ended the call. Afterwards, I called my credit card company to report the number and explain what had happened. They told me they hadn’t made any calls and thanked me for letting them know about the scam.
