Got a call from some lot calling themselves Clear Start Accountants, AFA Insolvency, or Debt Compare - they claimed they were from some famous debt charity. They were pushing me hard to sign up for what they called an IVA. Really shady behaviour. I've blocked the number and thought I'd warn others here. Seriously, these scammers should be shut down.

I got a call from some lot claiming to be with Clear Start Accountants or AFA Insolvency, something like that. They said they were from a famous debt charity and tried to push me into signing up for an IVA. Definitely a scam. I blocked the number straight away and reported them on this site. This morning I got a call from someone claiming to be with the Public Health department asking about my covid jabs. I told them it wasn’t their business and he snapped back, asking who else’s it would be and insulted me with some swear words. I told him if he was really with them he wouldn’t be so rude to people. I said I had to get going for work but he kept having a go at me before I finally ended the call.
