There was some noise in the backround before they just hung up. Not long ago someone said they were with telephone preferences but I didn’t bother to look up the number then.

Got a call from an Asian call centre claiming to be the Telephone Preference Service offering an upgrade. As soon as they asked for my personal info, I just ended the call.

Someone called pretending to be from the Telephone Preference Service, which I’ve actually been signed up to for ages. I told them straight up that the TPS wouldn’t get in touch like this, and if they were trying to ask me for any cash, then they were definitely not legit.
