I received a call from someone with a noticeable foreign accent, sounding quite Asian. They purporting to be from BT, talking about my sluggish internet connection. As I’m not even a BT subscriber, I promptly ended the conversation.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with BT about my internet speed. The bloke had a really strong Asian accent and wanted me to open an app on my phone. Luckily, I had someone visiting me then so I just said no, and he ended the call. Didn’t get any heads up about this call beforehand either.
