I got a call from someone with an American accent claiming they were from Amazon, saying there was a £795 charge on my card for a phone. They told me to press one if I hadn’t made the purchase. When I looked at my Amazon account, there was no sign of anything like that. Definitely just another scam. What’s weird is the number had my own area code, which made it feel even more suspicious. So frustrating!
