This morning I got a call from this number with a recorded voice claiming to be BT. They said our internet was going to be disconnected because of some suspicious activity. They asked me to press 1 to speak to someone from BT, so I did. A woman answered but then just hung up on me!

I havent picked up any of the calls. Since April 2019, I’ve gotten about 15 or 20 calls from loads of different numbers all over the country.

I got 4 calls within just one hour from the same number, but everytime I tried to pick up, it just disconnected on me. What’s weird is that I’ve already blocked the number, but it keeps buzzing through anyway. Proper annoying.

They've been ringing me nonstop this past week, probably those ‘life guys’. I picked up a few times over the last 8 hours but there was nobody talking on the line. Quite annoying how persistent they are.

beware of “the life guys” - they’re a common scam targeting people with fake life insurance offers. best thing to do is just block or ignore their calls, dont get involved. they’re connected to the numbers 01335818098 and 01353780136 too. stay safe!

They claimed to be from Renew Life and told me they’re regulated by the FCA, but it’s clearly a con. I actually looked them up on the FCA register, and Renew Life is legit and authorised. These fraudsters are getting trickier and target vulnerable folks. Stay alert!

Got a call from a number I didn't recognise, they didn’t even leave a voicemail. I’m done with that so now I just ignore any calls from numbers I don’t know. If it’s important, they can leave a message. Blocked straight away.
