An Asian woman called me, warning my computer was hacked and about to be shut down. I just ended the call. She rang back like 10 more times really fast, all ignored. After that, a different number called, this time some ‘Supervisor’ wanting to know why I cut the call. I didn’t bother and binned that call too.

They rang me earlier today but I caught on and called their bluff, then they just ended the call.

Got this guy from India ringing me non-stop about five times back to back, really annoying. I ended up just hanging up while Harry Potter was blaring on speaker. Later I saw he’d actually rung me a couple more times and even left some voicemails. Such a pain!

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent saying there was something wrong with my Windows PC. I told her I use a Mac, so she basically got told to buzz off. Then she rang back asking why I ended the call so quick.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent saying my Windows license was dodgy and my PC would soon get disabled. First time I just calmly told her to jog on. When she rang back, I told her I'd risk it since we don’t even use Windows here - just a Mac and a Chromebook - then kept telling her to bog off and stop the scams. Third call, she told me and my parents to do one. Absolutely brilliant!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying my computer ID was at risk because my Windows was being hacked or something. When I asked her name, she just kept saying the same thing over and over. Ended the call, but then the phone buzzed four more times right after. Usually, I let these ring go to voicemail, so seems like ignoring them and not picking up is the only way to deal with it.

Got loads of calls from this pushy woman with an Asian accent who claimed to be from Microsoft. She used a local area code, which was a bit suspicious when she admitted she was actually calling from India. Feels like they might be routing their calls through real numbers so you don’t just hang up straight away. Also, she kept getting my name completely wrong!

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from the Windows tech team. I told her straight up, "Yeah right, no way. Leave me alone," and ended the call. She rang me back asking what that was about, but I just cut her off again without saying a word. These dodgy scam artists really need to be cracked down on.

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent, sounded like a call centre, saying there was a problem with my Windows registration. I told her I’m already on the telephone preference service and asked her to stop, but she just kept talking over me. Ended up hanging up. Then they rang straight back seconds later! Didn’t pick up and decided to block the number.

I had to hang up on a really pushy Asian lady who was so rude on the phone. It was clear it was some call centre trying to pull a stunt. She kept going on about my computer being hacked and how I’d lose Windows. I told her exactly where to shove it, no messing about. This number’s been ringing me non stop - this was the third time just this morning, so I’ve blocked it now.

Got a call from a woman who sounded Indian, saying she was from Windows security. She warned me my computer was in danger. I told her to buzz off and hung up. Not long after, she called back saying it wasn’t a scam and threatened to block my computer. I told her to shove off, this time in old English! She rang again claiming my computer was blocked but I just cut her off. She tried ringing two more times but I ignored them both.

Got a call from a woman claiming she worked for Microsoft, warning me that hackers were messing with my PC. I immediately called it out as a scam. She tried to guilt trip me, asking if I wanted to just bin my computer. I simply hung up and didn’t waste another second on those scammers.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, hung up, and she rang me again right away. I asked if she could give me a number to call back once I was at my PC, but she wouldn’t. Instead, she said I wouldn’t be able to use Windows anymore. I did a 1471 and found this number. Planning to report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office online, and I hope others do the same after seeing this.

My mother received a barrage of six phone calls from this number this morning, and with each one, the woman became increasingly forceful, insisting that my mother’s computer had been compromised and required immediate attention. In all honesty, my mum was quite sceptical about the whole ordeal and wisely chose to ignore the instructions given by this caller. Total charlatans, if you ask me!

Got calls from a lady who sounded like she might be Chinese. First time was okay, but by the third and fourth calls she got a bit pushy and quite forceful. Not very pleasant to deal with.

Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent, and honestly, my toddler could chat in better English than she did. She kept going on about my computer being at risk. I didn’t mince my words telling her to jog on. Then she phoned back like four times, going on about my Windows licence being cancelled or something. I just hung up and blocked her number straight away. Honestly, these scammers deserve a one-way trip with weights tied to their ankles in the river Ganges. They really should be cracked down on, no argument there.

This lady with an Asian accent kept ringing my Irish phone over and over again really fast. I tried telling her I wasn't interested, but she just wouldn't stop. She was saying something about an issue with my Windows license on my computer.

Got repeated calls from an Asian woman, about six times, claiming it was to do with some widow's license. I told her straight away that sounded like a scam and if she had any real info, she should send it in writing. I also mentioned my son works as a computer consultant in London and asked her to quit clogging up my phone.

They kept calling me, threatening to shut down my computer unless I gave them info they clearly didn’t have. I kept answering till I mentioned my son, who’s a software engineer, maybe they should talk to him. After that, they just hung up!

Today, I got a call from this number saying my computer was hacked. It was so hard to get them off the line, they were really pushy and rude. After I hung up, they even rang back and left a message. Definitely some kind of scam!

I'm reaching out to clarify something quite concerning. It appears that my number has been linked to a dodgy call I received at 8:30 this morning from someone pretending to be from Windows support. Strangely, I was on the line with what seemed to be the same individual yesterday for ages. I've reported the matter to the police, and it would really ease my mind if you could provide some insight into why your number is associated with this trouble. It’s quite unsettling, and I'd appreciate any clarification you could provide. Thank you.

This number kept ringing me all day, claiming my computer’s Windows was hacked or something. I told the woman on the phone, who sounded like she was from India, to buzz off and that I wasn’t falling for any scams. I went ahead and blocked the number using BT’s 1572 service - it lets you blacklist numbers so they can’t call you again. Pretty handy for stopping these annoying calls.

So, I got this call from a lady with an Indian accent saying my computer windows got hacked or something, and I needed to turn it on to see what's going on. My missus wasn’t having any of it and told her to get lost, knowing it was a total scam. The woman hung up, but no sooner had she done that, the phone rang again - same scammer, going on about my PC being hacked. This back and forth kept happening for a bit before I just stopped answering the phone altogether.

Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent claiming to be from Windows. I just cut her off. But no sooner had I done that, she rang straight back and wanted to know who I was. I told her I was just a visitor, and she said she’d call again later this evening. Pretty sure it was a scam - and honestly, quite rude!

So this lady with an Asian accent kept phoning my 82-year-old mum and hassling her. Mum got really anxious and hung up straight away. But then the woman called again immediately, giving some sort of reference code like 00c04fd7d062. I had to reassure mum that her computer wasn’t compromised and it was all just a con. I even tried calling the number she gave but no one picked up. Quite worrying how convincing they try to be!

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from “Windows,” saying my computer ID was showing up in lots of different places. I just ended the call straight away. Then, I got loads more calls back-to-back - about 10 in total. I didn’t pick up and let it go to voicemail, but no message was left. Ended up blocking the number.
