This number along with loads of others like it keeps ringing me constantly. I just ignore the calls, hang up, then block them straight away. Since mid-April until now in July, I've had about 55 annoying calls from these kinds of numbers and I’m sure they won’t stop anytime soon. I just got a call from someone claiming to be John Foster, and at first, it was proper gibberish. I told him to speak slower, and then he started spelling out his name J-O-H-N. How on earth do these lot get hold of my mobile number? I’ve been quite sharp with scammers on my landline, and now they’re ringing my mobile too. I’m in my seventies but luckily still sharp as a tack. These scammers really need to be cracked down on because, as we all know, some poor folks fall for their tricks.

Better to just ignore that call. Some bloke with an Asian accent said he was Paul from “love my offers” trying to ask about my home situation. Thing is, I’m only 21 and don’t own a house. Got a call from someone called "Vanesa" claiming to be from Love my offers, asking for just 30 seconds to answer a few questions. The number showed up as Bridgend on my phone, but she said she was actually calling from South East Asia. She already knew my name and, oddly, my business address and asked for my age as well. I figured I had better things to be doing, so I ended the call nicely.

I just received a call on my mobile from a number claiming to be in Bridgend, Wales. It rang twice before cutting off. When I returned the call, the recording presented me with three options: 1. I can’t recall what was said, 2. remove my details, or 3. speak to an adviser. Naturally, I opted for the third choice and was connected to someone who was clearly overseas-the ringtone was a dead giveaway-and definitely not from Bridgend. I inquired about the reason for their call, but she abruptly hung up on me. Since I was anticipating an important business call, I thought it prudent to call back, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered. Upon reconnecting, the person on the line mentioned something about surveying household items. I requested to have my information removed, firmly stating that I wouldn't be disclosing my number to anyone associated with such a suspicious operation. Got a call from a guy with a strong Indian accent claiming his name was John Foster - pretty clear he was fibbing - and said he was ringing from Versa or Verso (the number showed Bridgend). He claimed it was just a quick 30-second survey. I told him I was slammed with work (I run a business so I’m always busy), but he kept talking over me, trying to push his questions through, which felt really rude since I’d already said no multiple times. I finally cut him off, said, “Look, I said NO! Remove me from your list.” And right as I was saying that, he just hung up on me. Only cold callers behave like that!

Got a call from this number, and it was one of those call centre things. The bloke on the other end said hello thrice, even tho we only said hello twice. So, we just hung up. Seems like this number is linked to Versa Group, who do direct marketing stuff. Best to ignore it unless you like wasting time on random sales calls.
