On Friday, the 12th of January, I received a rather puzzling call from this number. The caller, a gentleman with a strong Indian accent, was discussing some supposed bank charges I had incurred in the past. He claimed there was a cheque ready for dispatch to me. However, when I mentioned that I hadn’t actually faced any bank charges, he abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

This morning at 09:14, I received a rather peculiar call from the number mentioned above. The woman on the line had a distinct accent, which I believe could be Nigerian or perhaps from another African nation. She claimed to be representing the UK Government, asserting that for the last two decades, banks have been significantly overcharging individuals on various fees. Naturally, I enquired which of my bank accounts she was referring to, as I’ve never had any loans or incurred bank charges. Oddly enough, she abruptly hung up on me.
