I picked up our home phone earlier today and got this recorded message, a bloke speaking way too quickly pretending to be from BT, warning of "suspicious activity" on my computer and that they’d been attempting to reach me. Just yesterday, my wife had a call like this from someone claiming to be BT, who told her to "Press 1" if she wanted more details. No chance I’m falling for that. Can’t the cops do something about these scammers?
