Got a call from someone claiming to be Alex, sounded Asian and this was the first time it wasn’t some robotic voice. He asked if I’d ordered an iPhone from Amazon, said it was a £790 deal and the parcel was heading to Reading. Then asked if I knew anyone there, I said yes, went along with it. He then offered to cancel the order for a refund or let it be delivered to Reading, I said go ahead with delivery. After that, he just ended the call. I usually get many calls from strange numbers that no one seems to check though. The prefix they used was Bridgend, but it looked fake to me.
