When I answered the call, it just dropped straight away. I checked the number by dialling 1471, then called it back. A lady with a Welsh accent said nobody from that number had rung me. Are these scammers using real numbers to trick people now?

Got a call from some automated message about big charges on a random credit or debit card and to press numbers to get through to the fraud team. I just ended the call straight away and then rang my bank to see if there was anything dodgy going on. I'm pretty sure this was a scam trying to mess with people.
