I received a rather dodgy call from someone who said he represented my bank's fraud team, insisting that my credit card had been used earlier in the day. However, when I prompted him to specify which bank he was referring to, he completely fluffed it and named the wrong institution. Classic scammer behaviour, really.

Some proper annoying folks called me up trying to pull a fast one, but I wasn’t having any of it. When they realised I wasn’t buying their rubbish, they started making nasty remarks about my daughter. So I fired back, telling them actually what they hinted at was true - at least a few times! Now, thanks to that, I’m lucky enough to have three wonderful grandkids that I couldn’t be prouder of.
