Sounds like a telemarketer to me, they were trying to sell me some kitchen gadgets. I’m not sure if it was a scam or just a normal sales call, but I wasn’t interested, so I just said no thanks. He said alright and then hung up straight away.

got a call from some automated voice claiming it was amazon prime saying my subs would renew for £39.95. it said press 1 to cancel so i did that and ended up talking to a guy with an indian accent. he even knew my name and postcode which seemed odd. i told him i don’t have an account with them and then he asked me to log onto my laptop so he could help me cancel properly. felt dodgy so i just hung up straight away.
