I’ve got no clue who it might have been since there was no voicemail left. Honestly, what kind of UK firm rings you up and then doesn’t bother to leave a message? Seems to me it could just be some automated system testing out numbers.

Every day, I get calls with voicemails from this bunch, and they switch their numbers all the time so I can’t block them. I’ve never shown any interest in what they’re selling, so these calls are completely unwarranted. Honestly, it feels like harassment and I’ve already made a complaint about it.

Got a call around 11:26 on 21/04/2020. I answered with a hello, but they just put the phone down straight away, no word said. Probably the wrong number!

Gave me a bell at 11:26 on the 21st of April, 2020. I answered with a friendly hello, but they just cut the line without uttering a word. Could well be a mistaken call, I suppose!

I received a call purportedly from SKY's technical support, claiming they needed to address some malware issues related to my broadband connection. However, when I inquired about my personal details, such as my name and address, they were completely unable to provide any. The only thing the caller could muster was that "you’ve been with Sky for quite a while." As soon as I pressed for specifics, asking, "But just how long is that?" the line went dead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I found myself in a rather dodgy conversation about malware, where he insisted that I needed to upgrade my router and all my devices remotely because, apparently, Sky couldn’t send anyone out due to the pandemic. Feeling quite uneasy about the whole thing, I mentioned that I’d feel much safer ringing Sky back using the official number I had on hand. His reply? “Why don’t you just listen to me, you numpty!” Not one to back down, I gave him a proper piece of my mind, using a bit more eloquence and some choice expletives.
