I’d already placed an order with Anglian Windows, but they rang up following up on a quote. As soon as I told them the order was sorted, they switched their spiel fast, thanking me for choosing them.

I received a call from this number earlier today, but they hung up before I could answer. We were just considering switching our broadband service not long ago.

I'm not too sure if I should be worried about it, to be honest. I received a call from this number at 6:17 last night, but I totally missed it since I was fast asleep, haha! The thing is, I switched over to TalkTalk around three weeks ago.

I've received calls from this number several times, and it puzzles me how when you search for it online, it’s linked to Maes Yr Haul Primary School in Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, CF31 5EG. As someone mentioned earlier, it raises a lot of questions. What’s the story behind this connection? Just seems a bit odd, don’t you think?

As soon as we picked up the phone, there was nobody on the other end, and then it just cut off. This happened around 8 o'clock in the evening. We understand that many folks are out and about at that time, but we’re in a bit of a tricky situation. Being disabled and having three children means we can’t simply disconnect the phone line; we need it in case of emergencies when it truly matters. It’s quite frustrating, to say the least!

Delighted to discover we’re not alone in being hounded by Talk-Talk. It’s a strikingly similar tale; we took a peek at their offer, and lo and behold, they already had our phone number! It makes one ponder just how many times they’ll keep ringing us up. Surely, there comes a moment when this approach becomes utterly pointless, doesn’t it?

Earlier today, I received a total of eight calls from this number. Each time I answered, the line went dead right after the initial ring - very puzzling! After it happened so many times, I decided to call back, only to hear a recorded message saying they were trying to get in touch, and that they'd make another attempt later. Can we not just make sense of this? What in the world is OFCOM doing regarding these silent calls? If there's an organisation squandering millions year after year, it has to be OFCOM, without a doubt!

I've been receiving calls from this number five or six times a day. We did give them our fax line (from that online checker), so they just end up getting a fax tone when they ring us. It's quite amusing, really! I’m curious to see how long it will take for them to finally throw in the towel.

Just like numerous others, we've been inundated with calls from this number. After a bit of digging, it turns out it's linked to an ISP switch and persistent nuisance calls from Speak Talk. How tiresome!

We received a call indicating that we had requested information regarding the costs of different phone systems - however, this is not true. Prior to this, there was a call from an unidentified number which played a pre-recorded message. Out of curiosity, I decided to let it ring to see how long it would last before disconnecting. I did not press any numbers to be connected. Following this, I was able to speak with a manager who assured me that they would look into the matter (although I have my doubts). It is worth mentioning that we are registered with the TPS, so receiving these calls is against the rules. The call centre is located in Bridgend, with their headquarters in Nottingham.

I just received a rather unsolicited call on our home phone from a company identifying themselves as 'Solutions,' later specifying the name 'Solutions Marketing' when I probed the caller for more details. They already had my wife’s name and at least the first line of our address, which raised a few alarms. Their pitch was to 'help us save on our broadband and phone bills,’ but they didn’t even know who we were currently with, which gives off the impression of a phishing scheme-perhaps on behalf of someone else? After the call, I promptly noted the number through 1471 after informing the rather courteous lady on the line that we were not interested, either now or at any future time. I would strongly advise against divulging any personal details if they happen to reach you. Just thought I'd share this to keep everyone informed. - potential caller: Solutions Marketing?

I got a call from a number I didn’t know on my caller ID, so I didn’t pick up. No voicemail was left, so I’m guessing it was just some kind of sales call. Plus, I don’t know anyone around Bridgend anyway.

I work for TalkTalk, and we offer an excellent call barring service that is free of charge. I received a call from the number 0165667900, but since there was no message, I decided to look it up online. After reading the comments about this number, I took the step to block it. The process is simple, I just dialed 14258, and a voice prompt instructed me to enter **. Then I received a message confirming that the caller's number has now been barred. If they attempt to call again, they will hear a recording saying, "The person you are trying to call does not wish to speak to you!" It's possible that other service providers offer a similar system, so it might be beneficial to explore those options as well.

I received a call today from a woman claiming to be from TalkTalk. She mentioned that she was calling from Wales and I could detect a Welsh accent. She inquired about my landline and broadband usage frequency, as well as whether I made any international calls other than those within the UK. I suspected this might be a hoax because if she truly represented TalkTalk, she would already know about my international plan. She then proceeded to ask me to change my package, but I informed her that I had recently made changes to my package and saw no reason to alter it again without any benefits being offered. At that point, she abruptly ended the call.

After conducting an extensive comparison of various internet service providers on the web to determine the most suitable option for our needs, we’ve been plagued by incessant cold calls from Speak Speak every single day. It's really quite off-putting and has made us hesitant to explore other available services.

Talktalk, my ISP, has called me four times despite my requests for them not to do so. I have informed them twice before about my preference not to be contacted through phone calls, but they continue to ignore my request. In frustration, whenever I see their number on the caller ID (which is 01656672900), I have resorted to answering the call and expressing my dissatisfaction using strong language.

It’s beyond frustrating! Just when you think you can relax on your day off, these plonkers start ringing incessantly. We’ve registered with the TPS for protection, yet it seems utterly pointless! I swear, the next time my phone rings from one of these numpties, I’ll be tempted to blow a whistle or blast one of those annoying mosquito ringtones down the line.

I received a call from this number earlier today, but sadly I was a moment too late to answer. When I tried to return the call, I got an automated message saying they were contacting me on behalf of TalkTalk and Carphone Warehouse, and that they would get in touch again. Is there a connection between Speak Speak and Carphone Warehouse, or are they entirely separate entities?

I've been receiving calls from this number about four or five times each day over the last week. Initially, we answered a couple of times, but there was never anyone on the other end. Now we’ve just started to ignore it altogether. It's quite vexing, to say the least. I'd wager it's Speak Talk making the nuisance calls, but I suppose it’s better than having them at our doorstep! We had quite the ordeal with them a few years back - getting rid of those pesky salespeople was no easy feat. Blimey, what a hassle!

This number has been ringing us incessantly for several days now. Eventually, they managed to get through and claimed that they were aware we were considering switching our internet service provider, which is indeed true. The caller asked for our postcode and proceeded with a few questions regarding our current provider, verifying the postcode in the process. However, she suddenly declared that she couldn't locate our postcode in her system, meaning that Speak Speak wouldn't be able to offer us any services in our location. Quite amusing, really, as I was actually with Speak Speak a couple of years back when I first settled into this house! What a shambles!

We've also been getting calls from this number, particularly after we checked out the best internet options in our vicinity. Our phone line serves a crucial role as an emergency medical contact, so these incessant silent calls are not just a nuisance but could potentially delay important communications when they're urgently needed. To say we're frustrated would be an understatement!

I’d thought it was something totally different when the phone started ringing a few weeks back. As soon as I answered, I realised the first part of the number seemed quite familiar - it kicked off with '01656', which made me think it was a local call, similar to '01635'. The folks on the other end sounded remarkably like those from around here!

It's quite odd this Speak Talk lot. As soon as we tried to call them back, they just hung up on us! I've got no clue why they're even reaching out, seeing as we’ve never had any dealings with them, nor would we ever want to!

A few weeks back, we entered our number into TalkTalk's availability checker, and since then we've been inundated with three marketing calls, the latest being from 01656672900 earlier today. I've registered with the Telephone Preference Service, which means we should be shielded from such unsolicited calls. I've lodged a complaint with the TPS, but honestly, it's quite disappointing that TalkTalk seems to have resorted to these underhand tactics, allowing their availability checker to be exploited like this. It feels like they’ve really hit a new low.

Absolutely at my wits' end with these incessant calls! I've been bombarded with one ring every thirty minutes for the last three days, and it's truly making me lose my marbles. I’ve never had any dealings with Speak Speak, nor do I intend to in the future. These folks are a right nuisance. And wouldn’t you know it, just as I'm putting this down, the phone's ringing once more. Honestly, it's exasperating! Ugh!

However, it's already 2:30 pm and I am still eagerly waiting for her call.
