i’m signed up to the telephone preference list (supposedly!) and got a call from someone called ‘william’ (such an authentic name, huh?) asking for my debit card info. i pretended to cooperate for a while, then he suddenly started yelling racist and horrible stuff at me. i swear at him back and then he just hung up on me out of nowhere.

Got a call from this number but didn’t answer thankfully, after seeing what others said, glad I dodged it.

over the past couple of days i’ve had loads of calls from bridgend area codes but never picked up since no one left a voicemail. ended up blocking all of them. also been getting tons of calls from hidden numbers - like sixteen in two days - with nothing said or left so blocked those too. not letting those nuisance calls ring through anymore!

Got a call out of the blue from a number saying it’s Bridgend. Didn’t bother answering and just blocked it straight away.

Got a call on my landline from a lady with an Asian accent. She said she was from my son’s mobile phone company and wanted me to verify his phone number and address. Apparently, they were blocking his phone to prevent scams. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
