Got a missed call from this number earlier, but since I updated to IOS 26, I’ve been using call screening. When it asked who was calling, they didn’t even stick around to say anything because my phone never actually rang. Pretty obvious it’s some sort of scam, but cheers for the effort!

I called this number and it picked up straight away. The bloke was quick to agree with whatever company name I threw at him. When I asked if he was from Underwriters, he said yes immediately, or something about being from another company linked to a £1000 loan application. Then he asked if I owned my home. I ended the call there because it felt dodgy and this definitely isn’t a legit loan firm. Seriously, don’t share any personal info with these people!
