Over the last few days, I’ve been getting several calls claiming to be from Amazon. The voice is always a recorded message with an American accent telling me my Amazon Prime subscription has been renewed for £39.99 and if I want to cancel I should press 1. I’ve learnt to just hang up straight away when I hear a robotic pre-recorded voice like that. It’s a relief to know for sure this is a scam and not something legit.
