Somebody called saying they were from BT, warning me my internet might get cut if I didn’t talk to their tech support. Thing is, I’m with Talk Talk, not BT at all! Totally a scam, don’t fall for it.

Got a random phone call warning me that our internet would be cut off unless I pressed 1 to talk to someone. The bloke first claimed he was from BT, saying our modem and computers were riddled with viruses. When I asked for clarification on his employer, he switched to saying he was with Sky internet. I mentioned that was completely different from what he'd said just moments before, then he just ended the call. Tried ringing back the number but it wouldn't go through.
