Some bloke called, said his name was Max with an Indian accent - yeah, right! He was on about wanting to fix my computer or something.
Loads of times I've had these dodgy calls, where they want you to let them access your PC to nick your banking info and all that. I told him off for being a scammer and told him to get a real job. He just hung up straight away. :)

Tried ringing the number again to report it, but BT says it isn't a valid number. Typical scam stuff.

Had loads of calls from someone claiming to be ‘Windows technical support’. I asked them what company they were with and they just went with ‘Microsoft’. I was like, why didn’t you say that right away? They just hung up. Next time I’ll ask them why they don’t get a real job instead of messing about with lies!

Got a phone call from someone saying they were from Windows support saying my computer had a virus. When I asked which computer, he couldn't give me any info or even an IP address - he didn’t seem to know what that was! Definitely a scam. I just left him waiting on the line while I pretended to be looking for a pen.

I've been getting calls from this number, but whenever I answer, there's just silence on the other end before they hang up. It's really annoying.

I just picked up and they ended the call straight away.

I answered the phone and there was no one there, just some weird electronic voice saying ‘goodbye’. Sounds like they’re just fishing for active numbers using some random number dialler. I’m on the telephone preference service, but obviously that doesn’t stop these annoying calls. Proper nuisance!
