I got a couple of automated calls yesterday and another one today, all claiming someone had used my credit card overseas for £600. I just hung up straight away. To be sure I wasn’t taking any chances, I rang my credit card company on my mobile and they told me it was definitely a scam. I suspected as much but it was good to double-check.
