Got a robo call saying there was a £100 charge on my credit card from somewhere I'd never bought from. The message told me to press 1 if it was alright or 2 to cancel it. Pretty sure it was dodgy, so I just ignored it and deleted the voice message. Blocked the number straight away.

Got a voicemail saying my BT phone and internet would get cut off if I didn’t press 1 to chat with someone. Total scam! I’ve already reported the number to Action Fraud. If more people do the same, maybe we can get these lot nabbed and stopped before they scam anyone else.

I just got a ring from this number. They didn’t let me say a word, just started by saying they were from the fraud department and wanted to discuss some purchase made overseas. Since I’ve never even been abroad and it all sounded a bit dodgy, I just ended the call straight away.
