I got an automated call that said it was from BT, warning me my internet was gonna be cut off. The message told me to press some numbers on the keypad if I wanted to stop it or to chat with a technician or something like that.

NOT AGAIN WITH THESE SCAM CALLS! I keep getting calls from this same area code. I tried calling back from a different phone and all I got was that the number was out of service. Your lookup confirmed the location though, which was helpful. Another number I checked didn’t show where it was from, so cheers for that. They even hung up before I could pick up. Anyone else getting these calls? Might be worth ringing them to see what they’re about.
