I had the displeasure of dealing with an exceedingly impolite chap from the energy assessment team, or so he claimed. In my haste, I mentioned that we had no desire to switch our provider, which seemed to trigger quite a hostile response from him-indeed, he became rather aggressive, even going so far as to issue veiled threats. He insisted he hadn't suggested I change providers and warned me that not playing nice with him wouldn't lead to any favourable outcome. I assure you, I was neither rude nor unpleasant; just pressed for time and not keen on receiving an unwelcome, unsolicited call.

I received a call from these chaps earlier today. They claimed to be from an energy company, and when I calmly mentioned that we weren't looking to switch providers, the tone shifted quite abruptly. He started getting a bit aggressive and warned me that being uncooperative wouldn’t help my case before just hanging up the phone. It was a classic cold call-completely uninvited, if you ask me. Someone ought to have a word with this individual about respecting people's space; these interruptions are far from welcome. It's certainly not an organisation I’d want to deal with!
