Received a call claiming to be from Amazon, but it was a scam for sure! Legit companies where you have accounts would always mention your name right away, and usually share some details like the last 4 numbers of your card or account. This call didn’t do that at all. Also, if you end the call and want to ring back, make sure you hear a proper dial tone before calling again - otherwise the scammer might still be connected on the line.

I got this robo call saying it was from Amazon Prime, threatening to deduct £70 from my bank unless I hit a button. I just ignored it and hung up. Then, the very next day, I received the identical call but from a different number (02286207051). Definitely dodgy!
