When I picked up, I could hear several people chatting in the background, so it was obviously a call centre. But then the person on the line asked me my name! I was a bit confused and said, "You called me, who is this?" After that, the noise of the call centre carried on but nobody responded. Since I’m based in Australia and have mates in the UK, I wondered if it might’ve been one of them, but it wasn’t. Honestly, it felt fishy - maybe some kind of financial scam?
