I received a call from this number earlier today, but unfortunately, I wasn't available to answer. It's quite peculiar, as this isn't the first instance where they've tried reaching out. Based on what I've gathered from other people's experiences, I thought it best to investigate further.

I received a call from 01652040506, which turned out to be an Indian call centre. They claimed that Direct Line had reported that I was involved in a car accident last November that wasn't my fault. This is absolute nonsense, as I haven’t had any such incident, nor am I even insured with Direct Line.

I received a call from an Indian call centre regarding a bogus accident claim. They claimed to be affiliated with the National Accident Helpline here in the UK but provided a fake name and address. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Received a nuisance call regarding accident insurance. I kept pressing him for the name of his company and his own name, mentioning that his conduct was unlawful. After some back-and-forth, he resorted to swearing and finally hung up!

Truly one of the most uninspired attempts at social engineering I've ever encountered—he’ll need to up his game for any chance of success in the future!

I received a call from a bloke, quite clearly in an office setting judging by the sounds around him. I couldn't be bothered to engage in a chat, so I simply mentioned I wasn’t interested and he promptly hung up.

I received a call resembling the experiences shared by others - if this chap intends to pull off a scam, he really ought to polish his act and maybe even enrol in some sort of scamster training programme. His delivery was utterly baffling!

Received a perplexing call from a foreign voice amid the clatter of an office environment. It was completely unsolicited, and to be honest, I couldn't make heads or tails of what the caller was going on about. I informed him that I couldn't understand, expressed my apologies, and promptly hung up. I've since blocked the number to avoid any further nonsense.

Like others have mentioned, I received a call from a chap with a thick accent and an absolute racket in the background. I couldn’t make heads or tails of what he was saying. When I requested that he repeat himself, he abruptly ended the call. It felt quite suspicious, so I did a bit of digging online, and judging by these comments, I certainly wouldn’t put any faith in this number.

I received a call from an Indian lady using the number 07006-2018, claiming to discuss the car accident involving my vehicle. However, it all seemed rather dodgy as she mentioned an incident from 1968! The moment I questioned her, she just abruptly ended the call. Definitely a scam!
