Today I got a phone call from someone saying he was with BT, warning me that my internet was about to get cut off because of some virus or something. Instead of listening to what he had to say next, I asked him for his name which he gave as Alex Johnson. I told him to just call BT themselves to prove who he really was. After that, he started acting a bit strange and then ended the call abruptly.

I got a call from someone saying they were from BT's tech team. They were really pushy and said my internet would be cut off if I didn’t follow their instructions. When I questioned them, they got quite hostile and kept phoning me back, ringing about four times just to threaten me.

Got a call from a lady claiming she was with BT, warning me about some internet hacking going on. Sounded dodgy to me, so I just hung up. Seems like just another scam trying to trick people.
