Got a really cheeky call from some call centre about a crash I apparently had. Problem is, I haven't been in any accident, so I just kept them on the line for ages. One woman kept calling me "hun" every few seconds, and I had to snap at her to cut it out.
They rang back within 5 minutes, and I just put the phone down. Later that afternoon, they called again, and during a half-hour chat, the bloke told me I was being rude. His voice was so dull and lifeless. He even said he hoped UKIP won the election because they'd legalise guns, and then he could pop round and shoot me in the knee!
To end it, I went on about some baby's story over and over till he got bored and finally hung up.

Looks like this is one of those sales calls. The number starts with 01651 so we just assumed it was something nearby, like a local clinic or maybe even a friend living close. Bit sneaky really, making it seem like it’s a local number to get people to pick up. Quite a cheeky way to get through to folks!

Got a call from this number today, they knew my name and an old address, going on about some "car accident" I'd apparently been in. I told them I never had one and they just cut me off.
