Just got a call from some robot voice saying I'd made a payment of £600 abroad about 15 minutes ago. It told me to press 1 to talk to someone and then hung up on me. Very fishy!

I’ve been receiving calls from this number and others that are quite alike-at least one each day, if not more. I let the calls go to voicemail because I don’t pick up. When I listen to the messages, it’s some automated voice blabbing on about my card having incurred a £600 charge overseas, and urging me to press 1 if I want to halt it or some such nonsense. It’s starting to get a bit tiresome, to be honest.
