I received a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon, stating that I hadn't settled my account. The thing is, I've never actually purchased anything from them, so I immediately realised it was a scam. I'd also heard similar warnings from my local community, which further raised my suspicions. I rang BT using the 1572 service, and they informed me that the number was not recognised at all. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a robo-call saying there was an issue with my Amazon account, but I’ve never even bought anything from them. I was pretty sure it was a scam, especially since I've heard about these dodgy calls going around in my area from local scammers.
