The phone rang for barely a couple of seconds before cutting off, and I chose not to call back since the number was from overseas. I’ve heard some dodgy scams can charge you like £80 a minute, so better safe than sorry.

Got a call from some dodgy number, sounded like a total scammer. Proper annoying!

Some bloke named “Harry” rang me claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with my broadband. I told him everything was fine, but he then mentioned foreign IP addresses stealing my connection and told me to switch off all my devices. When I asked for a callback number, he said he’d get back to me instead. I kept pressing for his number and suddenly he just ended the call. Did a quick search afterwards and yeah, it was obvious it was a scammer trying to get at me.

Some one called me claiming my internet was being hacked, sounded like it was from some call centre in India. Total scam, trying to scare me into giving info or money. Don’t fall for it!

some dodgy call centre claiming to be bt gave me a ring today. sounded fishy right away!

Got called three times today, but each time they just disconnected as soon as I picked up.
