So I ended up blocking this number on 12th October because they kept ringing me with those annoying cold calls. Even after blocking, they’ve managed to call me about 10 times, or at least that’s what my block list shows. When I tried calling them back, there was no answer or recognition at all. Pretty sure it’s some kind of scam.

Some bloke called saying he was Barry Johnstone, mentioning something about my husband's Sun Life policy being in serious trouble! Thing is, my husband hasn't got any Sun Life policy at all. Before I could even speak to Barry, I chatted with one of his mates who left a voicemail. Barry asked me to ring him back on 0800 0096494, but the number on my caller ID was actually 01646 370009. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from 01646370009 claiming to be from First Line, but the person on the phone wouldn’t say anything about the company apart from mentioning they live in Wales. Ended up blocking the number!

I had a phone call from someone claiming to be with a company named First Line, saying they wanted to check my over 50s insurance to make sure it was still right for me. They knew my name but had no clue about my actual policy info. I didn’t share any details with them and they ended the call pretty quickly. Honestly, it felt a bit dodgy to me.
