Just received a call about five minutes back from a woman sporting a South African accent, claiming to be from the "Review Centre." She was quite eager to find out whether I had any life insurance and who my broker was. I have a funny feeling this might be a scam. On the upside, she was rather courteous during the conversation.

I told them I wasn't happy getting calls about life insurance so late, like at 6:45pm, and said they should stick to business hours, you know, 9 to 5. Then the lady on the other end just started yelling at me! It was really rude.

They wouldn’t take my number off their list no matter how many times I asked, and when I tried to get the company's name to report them to trading standards, they flat out refused. They said they weren’t actually selling life insurance, just offering “something helpful” connected to it. Seemed very dodgy to me.
