Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying I owed tax from four years back because I was supposedly self-employed, which isn’t true. They threatened court and said I could be hit with a £20k fine unless I paid about £1,500 immediately. The guy even asked for my bank details! After I asked a few more questions, he just ended the call. Total scam, watch out!
