We answered a call from this number and as soon as we did, they just dropped the line. Thing is, it was clear they were still there when we picked up.

This number belongs to an elderly woman who’s been really unfortunate. Some dodgy scammer has been faking it (like any scammer ever cared about being honest) and the phone networks know all about it. If you get a call from this number and can track down who’s responsible, especially if it’s a UK firm involved, please make sure you report it to Ofcom and the ICO so she can finally have some peace!

They never got back to me after I left a message on their answerphone, so I'm guessing it was just a cold call.

Got a phone call from someone overseas claiming it wasn't a survey but they wanted to ask me just one question. I told them I wasn't interested in surveys. Then they pleaded, "Please just a quick question before you hang up?" I lost my patience and abruptly ended the call. Honestly, I'm so tired of these annoying spam calls. Already had four of them today!

Really frustrating - I was waiting for an important call and the number just hangs up on me. Turns out the phone bill got a hit because I paid to find out who it was, and it was that same number. When they do those surveys, sometimes they try to get you to confirm your number, but I just tell them they already have it since they’re the ones calling. My advice? Just hang up straight away, they don’t seem to care about being rude to you! I reckon once you take part in one of their surveys, they keep your number forever and keep ringing nonstop. Also, I’m pretty sure not all these calls come from India - I have a feeling some of the people calling are actually working from an office here in the UK.
