6 yearsEarlier today, around four in the afternoon, I received a rather dubious call from this number. The chap on the other end claimed to be working for Sky and insisted that my Sky box was facing some kind of corruption issue. He even went so far as to say that my online data might be at risk. Then, of course, he kindly offered to help me resolve the matter. He asked me to switch on my computer and instructed me to follow his guidance. Thankfully, I realised quite quickly that he was likely not a legitimate Sky representative, mainly because he sounded far too young and quite jittery.
