I got a call yesterday from someone calling himself "Omar," saying he's with National Grid and that they needed to update our smart meters for our energy provider. After blocking that number, he rang again today from a different one (01794 470148). He claimed our energy company said there was an issue with our meters but we'd already checked with them and they said everything's fine. To make it more suspicious, he gave me another number to ring him back on (0208 1330093). My advice: don't trust these calls.
