Today this number tried ringing me but couldn’t get through thanks to my Bt Call Guardian blocking it. They never said who they were, so the call was stopped straight away. I looked them up using 1471 afterwards. I’m with Talk Talk myself, and having the Bt Call Guardian definitely helps keep these annoying calls at bay. I’m always a bit nosy and like to check who called me when the call’s blocked. Appreciate this site, it gives some handy info!

Got a call from this number where someone pretended to be from TalkTalk. They said my internet would be cut off on Friday, and it might last for about 15 days or something like that. Then they asked how many lights were blinking on my router - I honestly had no clue, so I just said goodbye and ended the call. I double-checked with TalkTalk afterwards, and they told me that number doesn’t belong to them at all. Definitely a scam. They mentioned they'd report it and try to block the number from contacting their customers. Fingers crossed they manage to sort it, but be careful out there!
